Saguaro National Park East is a beautiful expanse of wilderness covered in a forest of saguaro cactus as far as the eye can see. Formally known as The Rincon Mountain District of Saguaro National Park, this section of the park makes up, by far, the largest area of the two units, but it also has the largest difference in ecology. Starting in the lower desert landscape it quickly climbs to an elevation of 8,664 ft.
