Boracay

I Love Boracay sandcastle on White Beach

Boracay, a small island in central Philippines, could possibly be the Philippines largest tourist draw.  The number of tourist here could be a turn-off for those wanting a quite getaway.  Hyped as the Philippines party capital, it truly lives up to its name, but it has far more to offer than just its nightlife.

The strip at night on White Beach

Offering island hopping tours (even a bar hopping tour), an array of water sports, long white sandy beach, and a great nightlife, there is something there for everyone.  The main attraction is of course White Beach, the hub of life for both during the day and night.  The length of the beach is lined with stores, restaurants, and stalls of people selling goods and massages.  It’s a great place to find yourself a patch of white sandy beach to lounge on or have a meal at one of the beach at one of the many great restaurants.

White Beach is split into three stations.  Stations 1, the northern end, is the more expensive of the three stations.  From high end restaurants to ritzy hotels, if your looking to live the high life or wanting to splurge this is the place for you.  Station 2 is more mid to high end for both food and hotels, but you can find some cheaper places if you venture a little off the beach.  It is also the location of D’Mall, a strip mall of stores and restaurants that gets flooded with tourist during the day.  Station 3, the cheapest and quieter part of the beach, is the perfect location for those wanting to experience White Beach but still be able to get away from most of the people.
